A birthday card

Here's a Birthday Card I made using the Simon Says Stamps Sketch Challenge.  I get so busy around here, I didn't get a chance to put as much detail as I would like on it.  But, oh well, what can you do.  This was a birthday card given to a little girl.  I would love to make it more "girlie" but it ended up being what it is.

For this card, I used the cupcake clear stamp from Verve stamps, Sentiments from Inkadoodle, Handmade flower scallops (these are so addicting and I love making them), Martha Stewart border punch, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, PTI kraft paper, DCWV cardstock and Michael's Ribbons.

Wedding Dress Card

I had a lot of fun making this card.  I had a bridal shower to go to and I thought I'd make a card.  I found this wedding dress template back a while ago and have been anxious to use it.  So now's my chance.

Lace ribbons, pearls, embossed stockpaper, handmade scallop roses, kraft cards, Bo Bunny DP for background paper were the ingredients for this card along with the dress template.

My First Post

So, I'm going to try and take the time to post the few cards, scrap pages and jewelry pieces that I make.  I don't get to make too many things as I'm so busy with my family but in my short, short and I mean very short free time, I try to quickly whip up something. So for first craft of the year, I made a birthday card for my nephew.

It's a birthday card using a new digital image from The Greeting Farm.  I'm using this card in a couple of challenges this week...just to see if I can get my hands on some prizes.
